Biography:Bristol, UK's heaviest entity, BURNING SKIES, return with their newest killer-assault “Desolation...” to mark as a follow-up to their critically acclaimed LIFEFORCE RECORDS debut “Murder By Means Of Existence” (2004). The quintet has constructed a highly dynamic brand of blast beat fusion with intricate and brutal guitar riffs running the full gamut of extreme metal, from black metal to melodic death to American death metal and even some hardcore. BURNING SKIES started out in 2002 when Stu, Liam and Andie came together due to their previous bands splitting up. They practiced vigorously with the focus of incorporating their diverse musical tastes into one heavy yet accessible sound, that had a main focus on caustic, near-unstoppable slices of laborious brutality. It took until the end of 2002, before a fitting shouter completed the band’s line-up, for BURNING SKIES to complete the vision they set out to create. Things came together quickly and the first demo "Premonition Of Things To Come" was recorded in January 2003. BURNING SKIES immediately became an underground secret, which caught the attention of LIFEFORCE RECORDS and ushered in the release of their full length debut “Murder By Means Of Existence” in February 2004.
