Switch to LIFEFORCE Europe
02/11/2008
Danish metallers RAUNCHY have entered Hansen studios last weekend to record the yet-untitled follow-up to their 2006 Lifeforce Records debut "Death.Pop.Romance".

The band has issued the following statement:
"So it is finally happening — our gear's all packed and we're on our way to the recording studio in Ribe, Denmark to finish up our new album. We're really looking forward to enter the house of gun jack again and team up with our friend Jacob (Hansen, producer) to complete what will be the MOTHERFUCKER of the year! We're dirty, we're heavy, we're poppy and we're prepared to make this album our best to date (maybe whatever, hahaha). Eleven songs have taken their final form and we will record one cover song as well. It's gonna be a sweet heart."

RAUNCHY's as-yet-untitled new album will be released on June 30 in Europe and July 8th in the US/ Canada via Lifeforce Records. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Straight to Hell", "Recovery", "Heavy Burden", "To the Lighthouse", "Destroyer", "Somewhere Along the Road", "Thieves", "Western Gutter", "A Dead Epic", "Black House, Glass City", "To Shatter Bliss" and "Get Fighted".

The band's live set from their sold out show on December 2nd, 2007 in Copenhagen will be also released later this year on the first Lifeforce Records Live DVD also containg the last year Summer Breeze live sets by DEADLOCK, WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH and FALL OF SERENITY.
